Successful launch event for The Art of Becoming

The launch of Annabelle's memoir was on 14th November 2025 at the Brownston Gallery in Modbury. She was delighted to see more than 70 of her friends, family and local residents coming to the launch. After running the popular Bistro 35 in the town for over 20 years, she has certainly built a great local following!

Annabelle's friend Fiona did an excellent reading from the book, and this was very well received. Live music was also provided by Jo Highley.

Apart from the collapse of the coat rail under the weight of so many coats, everything went extremely smoothly; there was a constant flow of people going from the table where Annabelle was signing copies to the counter to pay, and each book was presented in a specially printed paper bag from the publishers, Winter & Drew. There was also an equally steady flow of people heading to the bar for a complimentary glass of prosecco.

Overall, it was a great way to launch the book.
